Our approach

One clinical question, assessed in full.

Internal medicine takes a whole-patient view. Each consultation addresses the question in the referral, considers the patient's other conditions and medications, and ends with a clear report to the referring provider.

Scope Medical is a consulting clinic. Ongoing care remains with the family physician or nurse practitioner.

A consultation includes

  • Review of the referral and medical history
  • Focused examination
  • Investigations where needed
  • Management recommendations
  • Consultation report to the referring provider
