Our commitment

Scope Medical is committed to providing care in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, consistent with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Ontario Human Rights Code.

At the clinic

  • The clinic is located on an accessible level with step-free access and an accessible washroom. [Confirm details for the final premises.]
  • Service animals are welcome in all areas open to patients.
  • Support persons are welcome to accompany patients to their appointment.
  • Staff can assist with check-in forms on request.

Communication

  • Tell us when you book if you need an interpreter, a longer appointment, or information in a particular format. There is a space for this on the referral form.
  • We can provide written information in large print on request.
  • Patients who are Deaf, deafened, or hard of hearing may contact the clinic by email or fax.

Website

This website is designed to work with keyboard navigation and screen readers and aims to meet WCAG 2.0 Level AA. If any part of the site is difficult to use, please let us know.

Service disruptions

If an accessible feature of the clinic is temporarily unavailable, a notice will be posted at the clinic entrance and on this page.
